ARC8
We provide an alternative to people who are tired of riding a stock bike by making custom bikes more affordable.
Our mission is to provide them with the best possible equipment for maximum performance and riding pleasure.
Our brand is focused on the riders".
The two founders of ARC8, Serafin Pazdera and Jonas Mueller, spent much of their youth together, as classmates, bike messengers or while training to be snowboard instructors.
But then their paths diverged: Serafin went into graphic design and web development, while Jonas studied mechanical engineering and developed frames for renowned bike brands. When Jonas decided to start his own company and asked Serafin if he could develop a website to promote his engineering services, it soon became clear that together they could achieve much more. That was the beginning of ARC8.
ARC8 recently won the best design award at the prestigious "Design&Innovation Awards2024" with its ExtraAir frame.

We are driven by the desire to build the best bikes in the world and our guiding principle - Le Defi / The Challenge - inspires us to never rest, never take the easy option and to lead the way.

We understand that a fast bike is a combination of multiple factors – weight, strength, stability, comfort – and we treat each factor equally to deliver the optimum ride
The quest for excellence is why we invested in braided carbon and resin transfer moulding over 20 years ago. It’s why we don’t settle for cheaper alternatives. We don’t cut corners or outsource production, everything is made in our European factory to our exacting standards. We’re restless, we’re always seeking to improve our processes, refine our product and do things better. Our demand for excellence throughout all areas ofour business underpins the quality we produce.

We created the workshop out of the desire to build gear as tough as it is beautiful. It’s this pursuit that hooked us from the beginning and has kept us at it for more than 25 years.
Our full history goes way back to 1994 when co-founder Mark Falvai and our good friend Doug Hudson started the company called Chrome and helped spark an entire movement in lifestyle-driven technical cycling apparel and bags. For us it’s always been about product.

ELEVENATE
Simply put: we make the skiwear that we want to wear ourselves. And we make it for our friends and everyone who shares our passion for snow and mountains.
We had seen waist deep powder, free skiing competitions, big lines, colours and IFMGA mountain guide exams. We had made friends and shared the beauty of great days with them. Experienced the exhilarating feeling of successful first descents. But we had also seen days we wished no one would ever experience. Avalanches, accidents. Good friends passing away on the mountain. So, when we moved back to Åre, Sweden, we knew two things.
One: Damn, it feels good to be a skier.
Two: we wanted to make better skiwear.
We want Elevenate garments to last for a very, very long time. We want them to feel like your second skin, dependable and protective when nature shows its harsh side, and infinitely comfortable to ski in. We want them to give you the opportunity to discover all the mountain, and we want you to look good doing it. Because, in our world, that matters too.
Sara & Jimmy.
